IDP Smart Printer No Toner/Ink

You should have a search bar in the bottom left of your PC, type Control panel into here 

If you click on control panel & then navigate to Devices & Printers under hardware & sound :
In here you should see IDP Smart 31 Card Printer & when you click on it along the bottom it probably says in the status bar 'No Toner/Ink' (The screenshot I have used below is just an example, even though it says 'Smart 51' & the status is not connected, yours should look similar).

If you then right click on the machine and go to 'Printer Properties' & then 'Print Test Page' this should hopefully clear the error message you are experiencing & print a test page. Make sure you have some blank cards inserted in the input hopper!

Please can you let me know if this works then we can see whether or not your encoder is working as expected.
