How move EasyBadge access data to SQL Database

Modified on Thu, 5 Oct, 2023 at 12:51 PM

You can create a new database on a SQL server in EasyBadge by doing the following.

NOTE you will need to re-assign all the card designs that have been set if different people have different designs.

1. click the menu button (3 lines in top left of program window).

2. Next look down the menu list for “Tools” then select “Save As”, you are then prompted for the type of database you want. Pick SQL Server.

3. You can then enter the SQL server and the name of the database and save a SQL instance on the SQL server.

The new SQL database will be blank so you will need to use the import function to import the old data

1.  Main Menu > Import / Export  > Import from Database

2. Select Access Database.

3. The table setting on the first import window will default to ‘ImageBase’ which is the correct table, Click next through the import dialogue until the data is imported.
