To use your printer to manually encode a magnetic stripe card please follow this instructions.

1. In Windows search for Control Panel > Devices and printers

2. Right click in the Magicard 300/600/360 (V2) driver and select 'Printer properties'

3. Select the Encoding Tab

4. Now you can enter magnetic data into the desired track and then click 'Write Mag Stripe' to tell the printer to perform the encoding.

Assuming that this is a MAG encoding model, and there are no error messages on the printer’s display.

You can also read MAG stripe data using the above (ensure the card you wish to read is at the bottom of the rear card hopper.

You can also easily test the MAG encoding from the printer’s front panel;

Menu -> Encoding -> MAG Test -> ISO -> (Are you sure) -> Yes

Lastly, we have some MS Word Templates available here;

On the above link a zip archive will be downloaded.

It contains three templates (single-side, double-sided, and single-sided with mag encoding).

Try sending the MS Word document with the example MAG encoding strings within it

NOTE! When encoding via Microsoft Word, check the following in Printing Preferences -> Encoding;

Ensure Concatenate mag strings is ticked (see below);
