Zebra ZXP7 Card Jam and Ribbon Snap issues

If you are experiencing issues with your Zebra ZXP Series 7 Jamming or Ribbon Break issues please try the following actions.


The most important thing to do is make sure your printer is clean, a cleaning kit can be bought from our website here..

If you do not have access to a cleaner kit you can try the following..


1. In Windows search for Control Panel > Devices and Printer

2. Right click the Zebra ZXP 7 Printer driver and Select Printer Properties > Device Information > Zebra Toolbox

3. Select the Printer Settings tab then click the Advanced Settings button in the bottom right hand corner. The Password is

ZebraZXPS7 (Case sensitive)

4. Look for the the Diagnostics tab and under the Calibration section select the tricolor command.

5. Make sure you remove the ribbon before performing the calibration. Press Run to run the calibration,

6. Insert the ribbon when prompted to complete the process. A message onscreen should alert you it is complete.
