Run As Admin

Run on USB not ethernet

Make sure Bidirectional support is enabled and all groups and used  ahave full permission.

Check the System Cryptography for Federal Information Processing Standards compliancy. Fargo Workbench may not run properly with FIPS enabled.

The Windows operating system provides a group (or local) security policy setting, “System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing”, which when enabled, will in turn enable one of the FIPS mode registry settings listed below.

Kernel Mode Cryptographic Primitives Library operates in its FIPS mode of operation by setting any one of the following DWORD Windows registry values to 1. Using the regedit tool in Windows, edit the values accordingly.

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\FipsAlgorithmPolicy\Enabled

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\FipsAlgorithmPolicy\MDMEnabled

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Policies\Microsoft\Cryptography\Configuration\SelfTestAlgorithms

If any options above in the Windows registry DWORD values are (1) Enabled, you'll need to change the 1 value to a (0) zero to disable it. Once the changes have been made, close the regedit tool and start Fargo Workbench. Select the printer from the Printer drop-down and open the Printer Information to verify the current printers details.
