ZMotif Partner tool not working on ZXP9

If the ZMotif partner tool is not working you may need to run these manual commands o register a Zebra ZMotif dll


PLEASE NOTE YOU CANNOT USE TO PARTNER TOOL WITH BOTH ZXP 7 + 9 AT THE SAME TIME AS THEY USE DIFFERENT DLL FILES


 

  1. Find the Windows System folder in the Start menu
  2. Right click on the Command Prompt icon and select “Run as administrator”

 

Or

 

  1. Press Windows+R to open the “Run” box
  2. Type “cmd” into the box and then press Ctrl+Shift+Enter to run the command as an administrator

 

  1. In the command prompt window, type: cd “C:\Windows\syswow64”
  2. In the command prompt window, type: regsvr32.exe “C:\Program Files (x86)\Zebra Technologies Corp\ZMotif Service Partner Tool\ZMotifPrinter.dll”

 

This is assuming that the system is a 64 bit system.  If it is a 32 bit system, you can skip step 3.
