IDP Firmware Update

You may need to update the Firmware on your ID Card Printer, please see the below for a guide on how to do this:

Please go to the following website, and fill out the fields with the information correlating to your pinter, such as Smart-51s for a single sided smart 51.

Please then scroll down until you find the files labelled "F/W" and "Installation CD" as shown below.

Once this has been downloaded, you will need to locate the files, right click on them and select "Extract all" once this has been accomplished, you will be able to go into the "Installation CD" file and run the update via the following steps.

And then

All you have to do now is select "Browse" and locate the file, and select "Manual Update" you will receive a prompt after completion - usually after a minute or two.

Once this been completed, your ID Card Printer will be running on the latest version.
