On Windows 11 sometimes you get a Magicard Printer driver instance in Printer Settings that has non V2 suffix.

The issue is connected to the Magicard driver (V2.8.2.779).

This workaround has worked can resolve the issue.

Click on Add Device;

Windows 11 won't find it . . so after it has given up searching, click Add manually,
Choose Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings, then click Next;

Choose Use an existing port;

You will likely find a port in the list saying USB00 (Magicard Pronto). That's the one to select.

Click Next;

Now choose the exact model very carefully here;

NOTE! There are TWO Magicard Pronto items listed here

Magicard Pronto (V2) and Magicard Pronto. (V2)

(Note the dot after the model name. This means Pronto MB1 (they look identical, but have an 8 digit serial number beginning with '7')

 Click Next.

Select Use the driver that is currently installed
Then click Next.

You will likely have to give it a different name (it's only temporary anyway);
Then click Next;

Follow the wizard through to the end (Next, Next, Finish)..

You should now see that printer you just manually installed in Printers & Scanners.

The next step is; Remove ALL Magicard printers in Printers & Scanners.

Unplug the power on the Magicard printer, wait a few seconds, then reconnect the power cable.

 Once the printer has booted up, it should now be alone, in that printer list, with it's correct name, etc.

In this case: Magicard Pronto (V2)

One symptom of this issue to note;

If you look in Device Manager, and expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers,

What you will see is something like Magicard Pronto

What you SHOULD see in here is USB Printing Support;
