HID Fargo DTC ribbon update

As part of HID’s commitment to superior print quality, enhanced color performance, and sustainability, prior versions of YMCKO, YMCKOK, YMCKK, and YMCKO Half Panel ribbons for the DTC1250e, DTC1500, and DTC4500e printers will be discontinued on March 31, 2026 (or sooner if existing inventory is depleted).

sustainability, prior versions of YMCKO, YMCKOK, YMCKK, and YMCKO Half Panel

ribbons for the DTC1250e, DTC1500, and DTC4500e printers will be discontinued on

March 31, 2026 (or sooner if existing inventory is depleted). 

In their place, next-generation color ribbons are now available and designed to provide

exceptional results and support eco-friendly initiatives.

Important: To ensure optimal performance with these new ribbons, customers must

complete the following updates:

Firmware: Minimum version 3.7.0.8

Driver: Minimum version 5.6.0.8

Color Profile: Gen4StrbC900.ti3
