This article demonstrates the steps to adjust printing offsets on the ZC10L Large-format Card Printer to remove unwanted white edge or visible border from the trailing edge of the printed card surface.

How do I remove the white edge from the printed card?

Resolution / Answer

Misalignment of the color and/or black panels may cause improper colouring causing unwanted white edge on printed surface (as shown). Proceed to adjust the offset values in the ZC10L driver accordingly.

Procedure:

  1. On your PC, navigate to Devices and Printers.
  2. Click the ZC10L, then right-click and select Printer Preferences.
  3. In the Paper tab, change the Print top offset[Y] to -14.
  4. Click OK when done.
  5. Test print. The unwanted white edge is no longer visible on the printed card.
